I just finished looking at a website that I frequently read for fishing tips. There is a artical on there about some low-life piece of scum trying to cheat. Obviously someone is getting ready to fish a tournament at Logan Martin and they had more than 5 largemouth in a barrel with holes in it and a lid on it. It was located in the back of a cove and with the water going down a little it only had about 3" of water over it. A guy found it and stuck his net down in it and pulled the fish out. He said the tails looked ruff and the fish had rubbed blisters on themselves. It is a shame that someone who needs the money this bad is not at work instead of fishing.

I do not believe with the group we have that we have to worry about something of this nature, but rest assurred, if anyone is caught cheating you will be out of the club right then and I will personally make it known to every club and tournament director that I can find that the person/persons are cheaters and try my best to notify all the participants in the club or tournament.

I hope this does not come across the wrong way to all the honest fishermen that we have just want everyone know this type of action will not be tolerated.
